What would you do if you had 60 minutes to yourself?

This is not a trick question.  I am simply curious about the myriad of answers that might be submitted.

Would  you:

  • Read a book
  • Take a bath
  • Call a friend
  • Clean the house….or a couple of rooms
  • Cook
  • Write
  • Workout

So many choices……so little time, right? 

Well…what if you could

  • Sit
  • Breathe
  •  Contemplate
  •  Move
  • Connect body and breath
  • Connect with like-minded folks
  • Lengthen
  • Strengthen
  • Improve your overall health….or be on your way to taking the first steps
  • Decrease stress
  • Improve flexibility and balance
  • Improve blood pressure
  • Manage your health without prescription medication

Just to name a few benefits of carving out 60 minutes for yourself practicing yoga!  I am sure there are more items to add to the first list, but they came to me in the same time frame the second list did….but that’s probably just me.

Now I am not saying that one 60-minute yoga session will give you all of the benefits on list 2, but perhaps one or two 60-minute sessions per week just might be the first steps in that direction.  And just imagine how much longer list 2 will grow if you were to take what you learn on your mat off your mat……..just think……the possibilities could be endless.

So….what would you do if you had 60 minutes to yourself?
